Courtney Gilstrap LeVinus, President and Co-Founder

Courtney has over 25 years of experience in both political and non-profit fields. She has been honored with multiple awards, such as the Arizona Capitol Times Women Achievers of Arizona Award for Unsung Hero, the Phoenix Business Journal Outstanding Women in Business, the Arizona Housing Coalition Housing Hero, and the prestigious Forty Under 40 by the Phoenix Business Journal.

Courtney is an active member of various boards, such as the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, Arizona Tax Research Association, Entryway , the Phoenix Country Club, and the International Dyslexia Association. She was a member of the Junior League of Phoenix for sixteen years and held the position of President at the Phoenix Country Club from 2020-2022. Additionally, she was a Commissioner for the Arizona Department of Housing and the Maricopa County Housing Authority.

She is an avid marathoner and occasional triathlete and was a member of the 2014 Boston marathon team MR8, which raised over $40,000 for Boston area charities for victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. 

Originally from Arizona, Courtney completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Speech Communication. She now resides in Phoenix with her husband, Chuck, and their son, Charlie.

Kelsey Jahntz, Director of Government Relations

With over a decade of service in Arizona's state government, Kelsey Jahntz is a seasoned expert in policy and legislation across a spectrum of critical issues. Her career launched under Governor Jan Brewer's administration which ultimately led her to the Arizona House of Representatives where she honed her skills in navigating state budgets as well as advancing policies related to education, workforce development, and federal relations. Kelsey’s multifaceted expertise extends to strategic communications, community outreach, and board management.

A proud native of Flagstaff, Kelsey ventured south to the University of Arizona, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism. Her thirst for knowledge led her back to academia, where she achieved a Master of Public Administration from Grand Canyon University, solidifying her commitment to public service.

Kelsey now calls Goodyear, Arizona home, where she enjoys a vibrant family life with her three daughters—Reagan, Ellie, and Katherine—and their beloved dog Luna.

  • Renée Belisle

    Renée Belisle brings operational, financial, event management, and administration knowledge and experience gained from multiple careers: human resources management, HOA management, and owning an organizing and productivity consulting business. Her broad experience is valuable in managing the various activities that keep the back end of a professional association running smoothly. She is a native Phoenician and a graduate of Arizona State University.

  • Chandni Bhakta

    Chandni was born and raised in Arizona. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Before joining Capitol Consulting, Chandni’s background primarily consisted of public service experience in police, court, and government affairs. Chandni’s expertise and passion for public affairs have brought her to Capitol Consulting, and she directs advocacy at the local government level for the firm’s clients.

  • Angelika Johnson

    Angelika joined the Capitol Consulting, LLC team as a recent grad from the University of Arizona with a degree in Law. During her final semester in College, Angelika served as a policy intern for Arizona Governor Doug Ducey during the 2022 legislative session. Angelika provides municipal lobbying services for Capitol Consulting clients at the municipal and county levels of government. She grew up in San Francisco, California, and enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.

Cathy’s journey includes significant roles in real estate management, project coordination, and small business ownership, providing her with a unique skill set that contributes to professional associations' seamless functioning.
